Why I Do What I Do

I’m dedicated to providing my clients with the ability to manage uncomfortable feelings, including depression and anxiety, through the use of many different mind-body therapies. I recognize the universal pain that surrounds so many of us because too many people are living in an illusionary world that their mind and fear—acknowledged or not—has created. I know it’s hard to let go and move forward when one is overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, or depression.

My goal is to help each of my clients arrive at a place in which they can release the stress and anxiety and allow the “ordinary” to become extraordinary through conscious choices that they make. The work I do with my clients is powerful and transformative—I’m driven to help them find, live, and express their most joyful, present, and inspired selves.

Creating Compassionate Community

All my work is guided by a vision to build a community … as part of the greater world … that is filled with people who are able to be present in their lives, despite the ups and downs of joys and sorrows. I want to live among people who live from a place of love and compassion rather than fear. Quite simply, my vision is to create more fearless warriors, to teach them to know and recognize what they fear so they may face it and not be ruled by it, which is the only way to truly feel fearless and live joyfully.

About Me

I honestly believe my work is what my soul came here to do. I truly set the intention to live my most authentic and present life in both my personal and professional world. Over the years, I’ve experienced that when we truly “stand in our own power” … when we’re fully present and authentic … we’re actually being our higher and wiser selves. This state of being allows us to truly hear someone without judgment … to possess unobstructed clarity, free from assumption. With that understanding, I’ve consciously cultivated the practice of standing in my own power in order to be a better therapist and coach who can serve her clients in the way that is best for them. I love being able to witness my clients through the lense of clarity and understanding and am happy I can create the space and opportunity for them to feel safe enough to transform and accept themselves.

For 15 years, I’ve provided treatment from a holistic perspective, integrating the wisdom traditions of mind, body, and spirit with traditional mental health therapies. I understand the importance of working with individuals and families within a collaborative relationship, allowing each individual’s strengths and wisdom to facilitate healing and lasting change.
